Summary

UTM faced challenges with an outdated website that affected its professional image and made it difficult for users, especially employees navigating their Wellness Plan profiles, to access key information and services. The result was a user-friendly, accessible, efficient platform backed by ongoing support.

The Story

UTM recognized the urgent need to modernize its online presence better to serve its members, employees, and stakeholders. The organization decided to complete a review and renewal of its corporate website to align with current digital standards and improve the overall user experience.

To bring this vision to life, UTM partnered with us to design and develop a new website focused on enhancing functionality, accessibility, and brand image.

The Problem

UTM’s previous website was outdated and no longer reflected the organization’s professionalism. It lacked the modern design, intuitive navigation, and accessibility features that today’s users expect. The platform struggled to deliver a seamless user experience, making it difficult for visitors to locate information or interact with services.

Internally, employees reported significant issues when navigating their health plan profiles. The interface was confusing, features were often broken or hard to find, and the user journey was inconsistent. These challenges created inefficiencies, increased frustration, and led to a rise in support requests. The lack of a reliable digital platform hindered external communications and internal service delivery.

The Results

We launched a comprehensive website redevelopment project to address UTM’s challenges using modern technologies and industry best practices. Our work began with a deep analysis and strategic planning phase to ensure the new platform would prioritize accessibility, performance, and user experience. We redesigned the entire website, focusing on clean navigation, responsive design, and intuitive interfaces, especially for employees accessing their health plan profiles.

Beyond the initial redesign, we implemented a robust maintenance and support plan that included continuous system monitoring, regular updates, and error tracking to ensure long-term performance. We also optimized the code and data structure for speed and efficiency. To empower UTM’s internal teams, we provided access to our incident reporting center, supported IT staff during hosting interruptions, and conducted on-site and remote training sessions. These efforts ensured that all users could confidently navigate the new platform and that UTM could maintain a modern online presence over time.

Working with INVID has always been easy. Things just flow, and I’ve always gotten great feedback on their projects.
