Nearshore

Nearshoring refers to outsourcing software development needs to countries located in proximity and with similar time zones. A nearshore location for the United States would be Mexico.

Native File

When storing a file in a program, the file is regularly saved in a format that only that software can recognize. For example, PDF files are saved with a .pdf at the end of the file’s name, representing its format. Consequently, other programs such as Microsoft Word may not recognize a PDF file.

NetBIOS

Short for “Network Basic Input/Output System,” is an interface in the middle of the computer’s operating system and the hardware. As the name suggests, NetBIOS increases support for networking, including the ability to identify other devices linked to the network.
