Raw Data

The term “raw data” refers to unprocessed computer data. This information may be stored in a file or simply as a collection of characters on the computer’s hard disk. The data can be entered by a user or generated automatically by the computer. It is referred to as “raw data” because the computer has not processed it in any way. Data that has been processed by a computer is sometimes referred to as “cooked data,” continuing the culinary analogy.

Recycle Bin

In Windows, a deleted file or folder goes into the Recycle Bin. Before being permanently deleted by the user, items are temporarily saved in the Recycle Bin. Either by selecting the items and pressing the Delete key, or by dragging them to the Recycle Bin icon, you can move them to the Recycle Bin. You can also select “Delete” from the pop-up menu by right-clicking on an item.

Registry

Microsoft Windows stores settings in a database called the Windows Registry. It stores configurations for installed applications, the Windows operating system, and hardware devices. Instead of storing individual preferences in files, each Windows user can store them centralized in the Registry.

Reimage

A disk image file is used to restore the entire disk during a reimage. This restore procedure is usually used as a last resort for system recovery because it erases all of the current data on the hard disk.

When restoring a computer, a disk image with brand-new data or a recent backup from the computer’s hard drive may be used.

Relational Database

A database model known as a relational database stores data in tables. Since most modern applications rely on relational databases, the terms “database” and “relational database” are frequently used interchangeably. In a similar vein, the majority of database management systems, or DBMSs, are relational database management systems, or RDBMSs. Other data set models incorporate level record and progressive information bases, however these are seldom utilized.

Remote Desktop

The technology known as remote desktop makes it possible to view the desktop of another computer from your device. This means that from your desktop, you can open folders, move files, and even run programs on the remote computer. The two Windows and Mac PC support distant work area associations, however they utilize various executions.

Repository

A repository is a central location for the storage of files in software development. Version control systems use it to store multiple file versions. While a storehouse can be designed on a neighborhood machine for a solitary client, it is much of the time put away on a server, which can be gotten to by different clients.
